Disabled Car Hit by Semi-Truck in Nipton, A’Zaire Floyd Identified

 
NIPTON, CA (April 11, 2023) – Officers confirmed that 4-month-old baby A’Zaire Floyd died in a car crash on 15 Freeway on April 1.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Yates Well Road around 10:06 PM. Based on a report, Floyd was in a Chevrolet Malibu sedan traveling on the freeway prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle’s bumper fell off, prompting its driver to pull over on the shoulder. Subsequently, a semi-tractor trailer struck and dragged the sedan for about 100+ feet. Then, the vehicle burst into flames with heavy damage to the sedan.
 
As a result, Floyd died in the incident.
 
The victim’s family started a GoFundMe to help them with funeral expenses.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
