TERRELL,TX (November 18, 2022) – Terrell Police confirmed that a 3-year-old child died in a car accident on Highway 205 on November 16.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Colquitt Road around 3:45 PM. Based on a report, four vehicles collided in the lanes.
 
Officers who responded to the scene after receiving a 911 call did not yet release details that led to the pile-up.
 
However, a 3-year-old passenger in one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials did not release the victim’s identity, pending next of kin notification.
 
The collision closed the road while crews treated other passengers on the scene.
 
The cause of the wreck is still under investigation according to authorities. As of now, no other details are available.
