Thalia Morrison Struck and Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver in Brighton

 
BRIGHTON, CO (March 7, 2024) – The Brighton Police Department identified 19-year-old Thalia Morrison who suffered injuries in a hit-and-run on February 2.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at East Bridge Street around 7:30 PM. Based on a report, the victim was crossing the crosswalk with a friend before the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle ran a red light, hit her and fled the scene.
 
As a result, sustained three broken ribs, a punctured lung, and needed surgery on her collarbone, leg, pelvis, and stomach.
 
Officers shared a video of the man running away from the scene.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
