Motorcycle Involved in Fatal Accident on Aurora Avenue North in Seattle
SEATTLE, WA (June 3, 2024) – The Seattle Police Department confirmed that a 19-year-old man died in a motorcycle accident on Aurora Avenue North on May 23.
The Washington State Patrol said the collision happened at 140th Street around 5:00 PM. Based on a report, the man was driving a motorcycle when he collided with a vehicle. Officials with the SPD did not release what led up to the crash.
As a result, the teen suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not release his name, pending kin notification.
According to SPD, the driver and passenger of the vehicle involved are in their 70s. Emergency crews took the passenger to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
Police did not suspect alcohol as a factor. They asked anyone with information about the incident to contact the Traffic Collision Investigations Squad at (206) 684-8923.
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
