19-Year-Old Daisy Rubio Identified in Fatal Rollover Crash on North Goolie Road in Donna

 
DONNA, TX (October 4, 2023) – The Donna Police Department identified 19-year-old Daisy Rubio of Donna who died in a rollover in the 3200 block of North Goolie Road on October 1.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 7:16 AM. Based on a report, 19-year-old Dariana Yasmin Loera was driving a vehicle with Rubio as her passenger.
 
Due to unknown reasons, their Chevy sedan crashed in the lanes. The vehicle rolled over and then ejected Rubio.
 
As a result, Rubio suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Officers located empty alcoholic beverages inside and outside the vehicle. They arrested Loera on a charge of intoxication manslaughter.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
