19-Year-Old Woman Struck and Seriously Injured by Vehicle on Flamingo Road in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (December 23, 2024) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that a 19-year-old woman suffered critical injuries in a pedestrian accident on Flamingo Road on December 12.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Tamarus Street. Based on a report, the teen was crossing Flamingo Road from north to south outside of a marked crosswalk when she was hit by a 2008 Toyota Camry that was traveling east on Flamingo.
 
As a result, the victim suffered serious injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported her to Sunrise Hospital, in critical condition.
 
The 25-year-old driver of the Toyota remained at the collision scene and showed no signs of impairment.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
