Hit-and-Run on Spanish Drive in Sunrise Manor, Two Children Injured

 
SUNRISE MANOR, NV (February 23, 2023) – A 19-month-old baby suffered critical injuries in a crash on Spanish Drive on February 18.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Spanish View Lane. Based on a report, the toddler and a 9-year-old girl were passengers in a 2004 Nissan Titan pickup traveling north on Spanish Drive.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the truck drifted left and crossed the southbound lane onto the sidewalk. There, the truck hit a block wall.
 
Police said the 28-year-old driver brought the kids to a secondary location before leaving the scene.
 
Medical personnel responded and transported both girls to UMC Trauma. The 19-month-old had critical injuries and 9-year-old sustained unknown injuries.
