Cameron Summer-Horton Identified in Fatal DUI Accident in Dallas

 
DALLAS, TX (July 12, 2024) – Officials identified 18-year-old Cameron Summer-Horton who died in an accident on Simpson Stuart on June 22.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Bonnie View Road around 9:55 AM. Based on a report, Summer-Horton was making a turn near the intersection during the crash.
 
At the same time, police said 28-year-old Jacob Arredondo was trying to get away from the scene of a minor accident. Due to unknown reasons, Arredondo ran a red light at Simpson Stuart and hit Summer-Horton.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported him to a hospital, where he later died.
 
Officers arrested Arredondo with intoxication manslaughter.
