Littlefield ISD Senior Malachi Frausto Dies in Crash on Waylon Jennings Boulevard in Littlefield

 
LITTLEFIELD, TX (September 30, 2022) – Police identified 17-year-old Malachi Frausto as the victim who died in a crash on Waylon Jennings Boulevard on September 28.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 6:42 AM, three miles east of Littlefield.
 
Based on a report, Frausto was driving a pickup on the road truck prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, he sideswiped a semi-truck pulling a tractor.
 
As a result, Frausto died in the incident. Littlefield ISD Superintendent Mike Read confirmed that he was a senior student of the school.
 
The driver of the truck was not hurt in the incident.
 
The crash remains under investigation. At this time no further information is available.
