Brooke Jeffrey Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Vehicle in Pittsburg
PITTSBURG, CA (March 14, 2023) – Pittsburg police identified 17-year-old Brooke Jeffrey of East Bay as the victim who died in a hit-and-run in front of the Golden Gate Community School on March 7.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened on Stoneman Avenue and Briarcliff Drive shortly after 6:30 PM.
Based on a report, Jeffrey was walking near Black Diamond High School at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck her.
After that, the driver fled the scene without giving aid to the victim.
Jeffrey suffered grave injuries and died in the accident.
As of now, an investigation to determine the vehicle is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
