AUSTIN, TX (August 21, 2024) — A 16-year-old identified as Allison Sanchez died in a pedestrian accident on Sunday, July 28.
 
According to the Austin police, the fatal crash happened at 5010 Old Manor Road near 51st Street at about 12:00 a.m.
 
Austin Police said paramedics transported Sanchez to Dell Seton Medical Center. Medical personnel later pronounced her dead due to the extent of her injuries.
 
The driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene and was not hurt. In addition, the driver cooperated with the investigation.
 
Loved ones made a GoFundMe account to help Sanchez’s family cover the funeral expenses.
 
Officers said that alcohol or drugs did not contribute as a factor in the accident.
 
There are no reports on the circumstances that led to the crash.
