Teen River Argame Struck, Critically Injured on 98th Avenue in Peoria
PEORIA, AZ (March 14, 2023) – The Peoria Fire Medical Department confirmed that 13-year-old River Jaice Argame is now in critical condition after a pedestrian accident on 98th Avenue on March 9.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Deer Valley Road around 7:00 PM. Based on a report, a vehicle struck the Sunset Heights Elementary eighth-grade student.
As of now, officials have not yet released the details that led to the accident. However, Peoria police say impairment does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
An investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
