Speeding Causes Fatal Car Crash on Highway 92 in Lake Stevens

 
LAKE STEVENS, WA (November 29, 2022) – Police confirmed one death in a high speed car crash on Highway 92 on November 24.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened at Lake Drive around 1:30 PM. Based on a report, a black Chevrolet Silverado was driving at high speed east on the highway prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, it crossed the center line and hit a Lexus sedan going west.
 
As a result, Lake Stevens police found one man dead at the scene. Officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
Paramedics took two others to a local hospital with serious injuries.
 
Officers believe impairment was a factor in the crash. As of now, the investigation into the case remains ongoing.
