Arturo Meza Dies in Midland Pedestrian Accident on Farm-to-Market Road 715

 
MIDLAND, TX (November 11, 2022) – Police confirmed that a vehicle struck and killed 65-year-old Arturo Meza of Midland on Farm-to-Market Road 715 on November 4.
 
According to the Texas Safety Department, the collision happened at County Road 120 around 7:35 PM.
 
Based on a report, Meza was walking north on FM 715 at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, he failed to yield the right of way to a vehicle. Subsequently, the vehicle driven by 19-year-old Styvin Chei-Wei Ortiz of Conroe struck him.
 
As a result, Meza died at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
