PHOENIX, AZ (February 5, 2025) – Authorities confirmed that a man died in a hit-and-run on 41st Avenue on January 19.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Thunderbird Road shortly before 3:30 AM. Based on a report, a witness called 911 to report a man who was struck by a car.
 
The caller said the vehicle fled the area after the accident.
 
When emergency crews arrived, they pronounced the victim dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
 
Phoenix police said the witness stayed at the scene to speak with investigators. They did not release information on the hit-and-run suspect yet.
