COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (January 13, 2024) – The Colorado Springs Police Department confirmed that a bicyclist suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run on Edison Avenue on December 29.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident happened around 10:40 PM. Based on a report, the victim was riding a bicycle west along Edison Avenue when he was hit by a vehicle.
 
Subsequently, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene and left the victim with serious life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews responded and transported him to a local hospital for treatment.
 
Police have not released any information about a suspect vehicle.
