Elisha Brian and Eric Saint Killed in Car Accident on Highway 2 near Airport Drive

 
SPOKANE, WA (January 3, 2024) — 30-year-old Elisha Brian and 56-year-old Eric Saint died in an accident on Wednesday, December 18.
 
According to Washington State Patrol, the incident occurred on Highway 2 east of Airway Heights near Airport Drive at about 6:30 a.m.
 
WSP said a tree on the side of the road fell. Then it struck two people in a box truck which caused the vehicle to go off the road. Brian and Saint, who were the occupants of the truck, died from sustained injuries in the incident.
 
Department of Transportation said officers fully blocked the eastbound side and partially blocked the westbound side of Highway 2. They fully reopened all closed lanes at about 11:30 a.m.
 
Spokane Police Department said the strong winds may have led to the incident by dislodging the tree.
