Vincent Cardenas Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident

 
SAN ANTONIO, TX (October 8, 2024) — A 27-year-old man identified as Vincent Cardenas died in a pedestrian accident on Monday, September 30.
 
According to the San Antonio Police, the incident occurred shortly before 10:00 p.m. in the 1400 block of Del Lago Parkway near Roosevelt Avenue.
 
San Antonio Police said Cardenas went out of his mother’s vehicle. Then he ran across the street. After that, a driver in a white pickup truck hit him.
 
Emergency responders brought Cardenas to University Hospital in critical condition. He succumbed to his injuries and died.
 
Authorities said the driver remained at the scene. There are also no expected charges.
 
The investigation of the incident is still underway.
