PUYALLUP, WA (August 15, 2024) — A man suffered fatal injuries in a rollover accident on Highway 512 on Wednesday, July 24.
 
The Washington State Patrol said the crash took place on Highway 512 at Canyon Road East at around 9:00 p.m.
 
According to the WSP investigators, a man traveled eastbound on Highway 512 in a 1995 Chevrolet Corvette. At the same time, three women moved westbound in another vehicle on the same highway. Then the man crossed over all lanes and crashed into a cable barrier on the opposite side of the road.
 
After that, his vehicle went into the westbound lanes and faced oncoming traffic. It resulted in his vehicle crashing into the second car.
 
WSP troopers responded to the scene and found a 58-year-old Federal Way man had succumbed to his injuries. Officials have withheld his identity pending notification of loved ones.
 
Three women who were in the second vehicle suffered injuries. Emergency responders transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment.
 
As of writing, there are no reports of whether impairment contributed as a factor in the crash.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the accident.
