Kaleb Ballinger Killed in Accident on Baseline Road at Country Club Way [Tempe, AZ]

Kaleb Ballinger Identified in Fatal Multi-Vehicle Accident in Tempe

 
TEMPE, AZ (July 25, 2024) – The Tempe Police Department identified 23-year-old Kaleb Ballinger of East Valley who died in an accident on Baseline Road on July 4.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Country Club Way. Based on a report, a total of six vehicles collided near the intersection.
 
The Tempe Fire Department extricated two people from one of the cars. As a result, three people suffered critical injuries and three others had serious injuries that were non-life-threatening. Emergency crews transported them to the hospital for treatment. Ballinger later died at the hospital.
 
Police believed impairment was a factor in this crash.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
