FORT MORGAN, CO (December 11, 2023) – Officials confirmed that four children sustained injuries in a school bus accident on County Road 20 on November 21.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at County Road T5 around 4:30 PM. Based on a report, 11 children were inside the school bus at the time of the crash.
 
Officers said the driver of the bus appeared to be at fault when the vehicle crashed with a semi-truck.
 
As a result, four of the 11 children sustained injuries. Medical staff released the victims after evaluation. Crews reported that the driver of the bus sustained serious injuries. They took the victim and the driver of the semi-truck to a hospital for treatment.
