PULLMAN, WA (August 11, 2023) – Officials confirmed that a 28-year-old woman from Moscow died in a head-on crash on Highway 195 on August 2.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Armstrong Road around 8:47 AM. Based on a report, the victim was driving a car north on Highway 195 at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, she tried to swerve around traffic by getting into the southbound lane. She hit a semi-truck head-on before she could go back to the northbound lane.
 
As a result, the victim sustained grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release her name, pending kin notification.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
