Diana Rodriguez Suspected of DUI in Laredo Hit-and-Run

 
LAREDO, TX (May 25, 2023) Laredo Police officers arrested 24-year-old Diana Paola Rodriguez after a hit-and-run crash on San Bernardo Avenue on May 19.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 11:59 AM. Based on a report, Rodriguez’s white Pontiac G6 crashed with a Ford Escape.
 
Subsequently, she left the scene and the driver of the Escape followed her to Moctezuma Street. Rodriguez stated she was the only one inside the vehicle but the other driver stated there were four children inside the Pontiac during the crash.
 
Authorities said Rodriguez had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech and had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.12.
 
As a result, officers arrested Rodriguez on the charges of accident involving damage to a vehicle and driving while intoxicated with a child younger than 15 years old.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
