Kameron Hartman Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver in Austin

 
AUSTIN, TX (October 10, 2024) – The Austin Police Department identified 28-year-old Kameron Hartman who died in a hit-and-run in the 4600 block of E Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on September 25.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 9:32 PM. Based on a report, Hartman was crossing the street midblock at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a white SUV hit her. Then, another vehicle came and also hit her. The driver of the second car left the scene without stopping or calling 911.
 
As a result, Hartman suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the white SUV remained on the scene and cooperated with the police. Authorities now ask anyone with any information to contact APD at 512-974-8111 or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 512-472-8477.
