16-Year-Old Boy Killed, Anatolii Nebelsky, Two Teens Injured in Crash on Highway 2 at Wood Road in Reardan
REARDAN, WA (January 14, 2025) – Authorities identified 37-year-old Anatolii Nebelsky who survived a fatal crash on Highway 2 on January 8.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Wood Road. Based on a report, Nebelsky was a driving a car with three teen passengers on Wood Road before the crash.
Due to unknown reasons, he failed to stop at the stop sign before entering the highway and drove under a passing semi-truck. In the end, the car became lodged under the truck.
As a result, a 16-year-old boy from Wellpinit suffered grave injuries and died in the hospital. Authorities are still trying to identify the victim and reach out to his kin.
Nebelsky was in critical condition while an 18-year-old girl from Fruitland and a 13-year-old from Wellpinit also suffered injuries in the incident.
Nebelsky was not a parent to the passengers.
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
