Yaniv Herscovici Arrested in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on South Buffalo Drive at 215 Beltway [Las Vegas, NV]

Woman Struck and Killed by Suspected DUI Driver Yaniv Herscovici in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (June 3, 2024) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrested 30-year-old Yaniv Herscovici following a fatal pedestrian accident on South Buffalo Drive on May 27.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened near West Badura Avenue and just south of the 215 Belt around 12:27 AM. Based on a report, Herscovici was driving a 2022 Mazda CX-5 north on Buffalo Drive before the incident.
 
At the same time, a 25-year-old woman was crossing over the street outside of a marked crosswalk. When the pedestrian darted into the roadway, the Mazda hit her.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not release her name, pending kin notification.
 
Police arrested Herscovici after he showed signs of impairment.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
