DUI Suspected in Major Head-On Crash in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (March 16, 2023) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that three people suffered serious injuries in a head-on crash on South Fort Apache Road on March 11.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the collision happened just north of Le Baron Avenue around 7:34 AM. Based on a report, a 2022 Dodge Challenger was traveling southbound on Fort Apache prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a 2015 BMW 328I was traveling northbound. Police said the Dodge drove to the center and collided with the front of the BMW.
 
As a result, the 52-year-old driver of the BMW, the 29-year-old driver of the Dodge, and its 23-year-old passenger all suffered life-threatening injuries. Crews transported them to UMC Trauma for treatment.
 
According to police, the driver of the Dodge Challenger displayed signs of impairment.
 
At this point, officers continue to investigate the case.
