Six Vehicles Involved in Fatal Crash on 25 Freeway in Larkspur

 
LARKSPUR, CO (August 12, 2024) – Officials confirmed that one person died in a multi-vehicle crash on 25 Freeway on July 28.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the collision happened near the Upper Lake Gulch Road exit around 12:30 PM. Based on a report, six vehicles collided in the lanes.
 
As a result, at least seven people sustained injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victims to the hospital, where one man later died. Officials did not yet identify the victim as of the time of this writing.
 
The collision also shut down a nine-mile stretch of the freeway for hours.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
