Fatal Car Crash on Highway 180 in Kerman

 
KERMAN, CA (March 29, 2023) – Officials confirmed that one person died in a fiery car crash on Highway 180 on March 26.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Sonoma Avenue around 8:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim’s Chevrolet Malibu was traveling westbound on the highway prior to the crash. At the same time, a Mustang was traveling in the eastbound direction ahead of a Toyota Camry.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the Chevy sideswiped the Mustang and crashed head-on into the Camry. Subsequently, the victim was ejected into the roadway and the vehicle became engulfed in flames.
 
As a result, the male driver suffered severe injuries in the incident. Emergency crews airlifted him to a local hospital, where he later died.
 
Both drivers of the Mustang and the Camry sustained major injuries.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
