Kyla Walker Killed in Austin Hit-and-Run on East Stassney Lane and Teri Road

 
AUSTIN, TX (November 22, 2024) — 39-year-old Kyla Walker died in a pedestrian hit-and-run on Sunday, November 10.
 
According to the Austin Police Department, the incident happened at about 6:29 p.m. at the intersection of East Stassney Lane and Teri Road.
 
Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian, later identified as Walker, dead at the scene. Police said the involved vehicle did not check the victim before fleeing the scene.
 
Police believe the vehicle is a white 2008-2010 model Honda Accord. In addition, they said it may have sustained damage to its front passenger side, front-right passenger bumper, and fog light. A passenger-side mirror may also be missing in the vehicle.
 
APD continues to investigate the incident as Austin’s 76th fatal crash of 2024. They urge anyone with any information on the crash to call them at 512-974-8111.
