Trevor Welch Struck and Killed by Vehicle in Baldwin Park

 
BALDWIN PARK, CA (February 7, 2023) – The coroner’s office identified 25-year-old Trevor Welch as the victim who died in a pedestrian accident on 10 Freeway on February 4.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near the Francisquito Avenue off-ramp at approximately 4:28 AM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was a homeless man walking on the roadway at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck him.
 
As a result, officers found Welch lying in the freeway lanes. An attending coroner pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
It was unclear if the motorist stopped at the scene or continued on.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
