Jenzel Navarro Involved in DUI Accident on Tropicana Avenue in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (August 9, 2023) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police arrested 23-year-old Jenzel Navarro following a fatal pedestrian accident on Tropicana Avenue on July 30.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the collision happened just east of Rainbow Boulevard around 9:55 PM. Based on a report, a pedestrian was walking outside of a crosswalk at the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, Navarro who was driving a 2018 BMW X3 east on Tropicana Avenue struck the victim.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. Officers only identified her as a 57-year-old Las Vegas woman.
 
Police arrested Navarro on suspicion of DUI.
 
At this point , the crash remains under investigation by LVMPD’s Collision Investigation Section.
